Dr James Meyer BSc(PV) DVM MANZCVS (Equine Dentistry) is an Australian equine veterinarian, educator and researcher with more than a decade of clinical experience. His professional interests include equine dentistry, sports medicine and practical ambulatory practice. James founded Fleurieu Equine Clinic and is currently an Associate Veterinarian at Oldbury Equine Clinic. He is also undertaking a joint PhD through Ghent University and the University of Adelaide, researching thermoregulation and cooldown strategies in eventing horses. Alongside his clinical and academic work, James is an experienced FEI Official Veterinarian and a passionate educator who shares practical, field-tested advice with equine veterinarians.
