Her path began with an internship at Agnes Banks Equine Clinic, where her natural aptitude and interest in surgery quickly became evident.

From there, she honed her skills at the Canberra Equine Hospital and the Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital, before embarking on an international hospital tour in 2006 to explore different surgical techniques and cultures in equine medicine.

In 2009, she achieved membership with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Surgery of Horses. That same year marked the beginning of her transformative four-year residency in Equine Surgery at the cutting-edge Veterinary Clinical Centre at Charles Sturt University.
